Apesar do seu aniversário ser em Abril, todo o mundo sabe que as celebrações oficiais do aniversário da Rainha Elizabeth II têm sempre lugar em Junho. Hoje vários membros da extensa família real britânica compareceram a um serviço religioso na Catedral de S. Paulo em agradecimento pelo 90º aniversário da sua soberana.
Despite her birthday is in April, everyone knows that the official celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II birthday always take place in June. Today several members of the extended british royal family attended a religious service at the Cathedral of St. Paul in thanksgiving for the 90th anniversary of their sovereign.


Coincidentemente o dia de hoje fica marcado também pelo 95º aniversário do Duque de Edimburgo. Ontem foi divulgada uma nova fotografia do casal com uma citação de Elizabeth II que diz tudo em relação aquilo que Philip significa para si!
Coincidentally today is also marked by the 95th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh. Yesterday a new picture of the royal couple was released with a quote from Elizabeth II that says everything about how much Philip means to her!


[E só aqui entre nós, em Abril quando foram divulgadas as novas fotos da Rainha por Annie Leibovitz eu sempre tive esperança que uma fotografia do casal tivesse sido guardada para mais tarde...].

Com mais de 50 familiares presentes no serviço desta manhã, prevê-se balcão cheio amanhã para o Trooping the Color.

Depois três das nossas principais damas britânicas brindaram-nos com várias tonalidades similares.

Catherine, Duquesa de Cambridge, combinou o azul pálido e renda, num look que poderá perfeitamente voltar a usar quando tiver 60 anos. Adorei o chapéu!

Sophie, Condessa de Wessex, absolutamente encantadora, num modelo que ganha pontos pelo volume e pela ousadia do chapéu.

O outro azul... / The other blue...

Zara Tindall optou também por azul numa versão mais escura e com motivos florais. O vestido apesar de bonito, pareceu-me casual de mais.
Zara Tindall also opted for blue in a darker version and floral motifs. The dress although beautiful, it seemed very casual for the event's nature.

Cor /Color

Para mim, a Princesa Eugenie esteve entre as mais belas do serviço optando por um vestido vermelho que foi um rasgo de cor na multidão.
For me, Princess Eugenie was among the most beautiful of the service by choosing a red dress, that ended up being a colored tear in the sea.

Indecisão / I just can´t make up my mind

Confesso que ainda não me decidi quanto ao look da Princesa Beatrice. Gosto da forma do casaco e do padrão, mas acho que há qualquer coisa ali que não funciona bem...Talvez seja o cabelo solto.
I confess I have not decided yet about the look of Princess Beatrice. I like the shape of the coat and the pattern, but I think there's something there that does not work well ... Maybe it's the hair down.

Igual a si mesma / True to herself

A Princesa Real escolheu um simples vestido com um casaco com bordados em tons bege e castanho. Acessórios a condizer, claro!
The Princess Royal chose a  simple dress with a beige and brown embroidered coat. Matching accessories, of course!


Eterna elegância / Eternal elegance

Primeiro Fascinator / Firsy Fascinator

E depois tivemos Lady Louise, que tirou umas dicas do livro de encantamentos da sua mãe, a Condessa de Wessex, e deslumbrou em rosa e com direito ao seu primeiro fascinator. Acho melhor não lhe contarmos da Estelle, não acham?
And then we had Lady Louise, who took some tips from her mother, the Countess of Wessex, How to be Charming? book and dazzled in pink and entitled to her first fascinator. Maybe it's better  not mention Estelle to her, don't you think?
Não real / Not Royal

Não é real, mas eu quero falar de Samantha Cameron, esposa do Primeiro-Ministro. 
She is not royal, but I want to talk about Samantha Cameron, the Prime Minister's wife.
Muitos acharam que ela estava pronta para ir para uma festa de piscina. Pois eu acho que, apesar de não ser o típico estilo britânico, Sam estava super elegante e foi uma lufada de ar fresco...Embora o vestido se tornasse mais formal, sem perder a elegância, se tivesse mangas.
Many thought she was ready to go to a pool party. For me, despite not being the typical British style, Sam was super stylish and it was a breath of fresh air ... Although the dress would become more formal without losing elegance, if it had sleeves.
